Instructions to install our Ultra Light Hydraulic Brake Kit |
**Important, Do not bleed kit while it is installed on the bike. Bleed brake
before installation. |
1. Bend, grind, or cut away as needed, the bracket that held the old
brake cable/spring. So there is room for the linkage |
2. Cut brake line to desired length and install brake line. To install
brake lines, push the line into the connector on the master cylinder and the
caliper. To remove the lines, press on the green fitting on the master cylinder
or the silver fitting on the caliper, with two fingers |
3. Next hold the caliper on the rotor and adjust the brake pads using an Allen
wrench and turning the bolts on the side of the caliper. You want to adjust the
brake pads so they are almost touching the rotor, without any drag. |
4. Pull the kit off the caliper and bleed the kit. Please refer to the bleeding instructions listed on the support page.
5. After bleeding install rear brake bracket and caliper. |
6. Install front bracket, master cylinder and linkage and adjust linkage.
By adjusting the linkage this will adjust your pedal travel. |
7. Adjust collar on master cylinder using an Allen wrench. This will adjust your
pedal travel. |
