Instructions to install our Self Adjusting Hydraulic Brake Kit

**There can be no tension on the master cylinder arm while bleeding.
** Use only DOT 5 Brake fluid in this kit.

1.Cut nylon brake line to desired length and attach the nylon brake lines to the master cylinder and caliper as shown in picture or attach the stainless brake lines

2. Bleed as per the instructions included in the kit or visit the bleeding section on our support page.

3. Bend or Grind away as needed, the bracket that held the old brake cable/spring.
So there is room for the linkage

4. Remove the old caliper and bracket and install the new rear brake bracket and caliper. Add shims or washers between the bracket and the caliper as needed to center the pads on the rotor. (Note: The rotor floats.)

5. Mount the front master cylinder bracket, as shown in picture.

6. Add washers between the bracket and  master cylinder, as needed, so there is clearance for the kick starter.

7.  Attach the brake yoke to the master cylinder arm. Place the threaded rod through the
hole in the linkage connection on the brake pedal and then adjust the linkage so that your brake pedal is fully retracted and tighten everything as needed on the linkage.

8. If running with stock foot guards, you may need to add washers between the frame and the foot guard as shown in picture.
