Bleeding Instructions for the Ultra Light Brake Kit

**Important, Do not bleed kit while it is installed on the bike. Bleed brake before installation.
**There can be no tension on the master cylinder arm while bleeding.
** Use only DOT 5 Brake fluid in this kit.
 


1. Attach the brake lines to the master cylinder and caliper.
 

2. Tighten all bleed screws, then open them 1/2 to 1 turn each.

3. Place the nozzle on the bleeder bottle.

4. Place nozzle of bleeder bottle on the bleed screw of master cylinder to force fluid through the system.

5. When fluid comes out of the caliper bleed screws, without air bubbles, tighten them.


6. Remove bleeder bottle from master cylinder.

 

7. Now you must back bleed the system. To do this open the master cylinder bleeder screw, then open one of the bleeder screws on the caliper and place bleeder bottle on bleed screw and force fluid through the system, until there are no more air bubbles. Then tighten that bleeder screw and repeat process on the other bleeder screw on the caliper. Then tighten the bleeder screw on the master cylinder.

8. Pull on the master cylinder arm and the pads should touch each other if bleed right.
